Los solicitantes que soliciten un puesto de "Operador" deben tener su Licencia de conducir comercial (CDL) y contar con el respaldo total. Los solicitantes de operadores deben tener al menos 3 a 5 años de experiencia, un historial de conductor limpio y no antecedentes penales. El empleo está supeditado a pasar satisfactoriamente un examen físico que incluya una prueba de detección de drogas.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Full & Part-Time) 

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Professionally and politely greets all customers in person and on telephone.
  • Monitors service via computer software.
  • Monitors SEAT email and social media for service inquiries.
  • Provides information about services to public in person, via telephone and social media.
  • Answers questions, complaints or complements about SEAT services and accurately enters information into on-line report system.
  • Schedules and books trips for demand-response services utilizing scheduling software.
  • Transacts in-person pass sales with cash and credit cards.
  • Completes, maintains, and updates accurate daily sales records.
  • Accurately enters data in computer software programs as needed.
  • Occasionally assists in revenue counting.
  • Attends in-service training or off-site training provided by the District.
  • Otros deberes relacionados según lo asignado.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Posesión mínima de Diploma HS / GED.
  • Familiarity with MS Office; ability to operate computers and telephones; learn scheduling software; monitor two-way radio for operating status.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in position requiring excellent customer service skills being empathetic and cognizant of the needs of all customers.
  • Ability to deal with stressful, high call volume situations.
  • Ability to work between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday – Saturday. Full-time shifts may be five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.  Part-time shifts shall be regularly scheduled between 20-30 hours/week.
  • Debe poder asistir a la formación.
  • Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and comprehend Basic English; bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.

DIESEL MECHANIC (Full Time) 

 The District is the region’s public transportation provider with a strong public service and safety ethic. We are looking for an energetic, conscientious, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys making a difference, a quick learner who can take the initiative, and someone who enjoys being part of a small team that takes pride in their service to the community.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL TRABAJO / RESPONSABILIDADES:

  • Maintains SEAT’s vehicles, including heavy-duty diesel buses and gasoline minibuses and support vehicles.
  • Inspects, diagnoses and performs repairs on major components.
  • Makes road calls and test drives vehicles.
  • Occasionally maintains and repairs shop tools, equipment and facilities.
  • Occasionally services and fuels vehicles.
  • Completes work orders and other necessary documentation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUISITOS / CALIFICACIONES:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two Years’ experience as a diesel mechanic or any comparable combination of education/experience.
  • Proficient in use of electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Requires analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to make independent decisions guided by a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English
  • Must provide his/her own personal hand tools.

  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to obtain A/C 609 Certification and/or appropriate ASE certifications.

We offer competitive compensation wage range $26.00 – $32.00 per hour depending on experience (bonus for appropriate ASE certifications) and excellent benefits including, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid vacation and personal days, 457k and an EAP program.
